What’s on my iPod (iPhone), Part 1
If you’re anything like me, your digital music library far outweighs the storage capacity available on almost any current portable music device. So there’s no option other than to keep changing and refreshing the music you carry around with you, as you get bored with it.
My situation is made worse by only having an 8GB iPhone 3G as my portable device. :-( So I change the music on my iPhone pretty regularly. My musical tastes are quite broad, so some of my “iPhone Collections” can get pretty interesting.
Because of this, I’ve decided to start a list of my collections. Each time I change-out the music on my iPhone, I’ll update my blog with a new list of “Whats on my iPhone”. Sometimes you’ll notice a clear trend in my musical choices, either based on my mood, a genre, or a period in time. Often I’ll throw in 1 or 2 new albums or artists that I’ve never heard before.
On to the first list…
- Ben Lee - Awake is the New Sleep
- Ben Lee - Hey You, Yes You
- John Butler Trio - April Uprising
- Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns
- Live - The Distance to Here
- Live - Secret Samadhi
- Live - Throwing Copper
- Matchbox Twenty - Mad Season
- Matchbox Twenty - Yourself or Someone Like You
- Missy Higgins - On A Clear Night
- Missy Higgins - The Sound of White
- Norah Jones - The Fall
- Panic! at the Disco - Pretty. Odd.
- Red Hot Chilli Peppers - One Hot Minute
- Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By the Way
- Travis - The Invisible Band
- Vanessa Carlton - Be Not Nobody
- Vanessa Carlton - Harmonium
- The Whitlams - Torch the Moon
There are quite a few albums on this list that I’ve never heard before, so it should make for some interesting listening.
